Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Vera grew up in Rochester. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. John Fisher College in 2006, Vera worked as Sales Tax Auditor for New York State Department of Taxation and Finance and a Staff Accountant for Rochester General Health System. Vera joined the University of Rochester as a Senior Accountant in March 2014. Vera is a member of JYRoc and NextGen Rochester and lives in Penfield.
