Category : Co-Chair

Clem is a licensed professional engineer and project manager with LaBella Associates. A native of London, England, Clem graduated in 2000 with a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Imperial College London. He immigrated to the U.S. in 2003 and moved to Rochester, his wife’s hometown, in 2007. Clem has been active in young professional groups locally and nationally for many years, including chair of the national Committee on Younger Members for the American Society of Civil Engineers. Currently residing in Brighton with his wife and their 5-year-old son, Clem believes Rochester is an excellent environment for a young family. The Rochester Engineering Society presented Clem with the 2012 Kate Gleason Award for Young Engineer of the Year, partly in recognition of his support for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education - he currently leads the Community Awareness and Involvement Team at the Finger Lakes STEM Hub, and serves on the Policy Board for the Brighton Central School District’s Teacher Center.
