The ADK-GVC YMs are a group of outdoor enthusiasts in their 20’s and 30’s who like to have fun outdoors—but anyone who is young at heart is welcome at all of our activities! We are interested in conservation, education and, of course, recreation. We host many activities including local day trips, as well as weekend trips, hiking, paddling, backpacking, camping, and biking. ADK-GVC YMs also do a lot of fun stuff like ice skating, happy hours, and monthly social gatherings. Attend one of our upcoming events, and be prepared to have fun, meet new people, and share ideas for future activities. We cater to all ability levels, from first-timer to advanced. You don’t need to be a member of the ADK club to attend events—all are welcome. See you outdoors! The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1922, has 27 chapters and 35,000 members. The ADK is dedicated to the protection and responsible recreational use of New York State wilderness, waters and parks. The club maintains two lodges, the Adirondack Loj in North Elba and the Johns Brook Lodge in Keene Valley, and maintains hundreds of miles of trails. Visit us at www.adk-gvc.org! |
