Experience all WXXI has to offer as we celebrate 50 years of public media in Rochester! You’ll have a chance to tour our facility, meet our staff, learn more about our partnership with the Little Theatre, and so much more. There will be music, station tours, and lots of interactive activities from community partners.
Something for the kids:
- Take a picture with some of your favorite PBS characters like, Peg + Cat, Nature Cat, and Clifford.
- Check out the sets of Homework Hotline, Need to Know, City Wise and Arts in Focus.
- Enjoy a variety of arts and crafts and airbrush tattoos.
- Take part in lots of different fun and educational free hands-on activities.
Fun for the whole family:
- Meet hosts of Classical 91.5.
- Watch Open Tunings’ Scott Regan do his show live on WRUR.
- Visit the radio studios of Connections with Evan Dawson.
